… a colourful stream of immune cells flows through bluestained tumour cells and declares war on cancer. To ensure its success, doctors and scientists at University of Duisburg-Essen and University Hospital Essen are working tirelessly to develop new methods of treatment and diagnosis. In 2023, the university hospital became one of the six nationwide sites of the National Center for Tumor Diseases.
